Manual Handling Training is required if your staff are undertaking potentially hazardous manual handling activities. It is a legal requirement under the Manual Handling Operations Regulations to ensure that effective training is provided. Manual Handling injuries account to 36% of all reported workplace accidents.
This Manual Handling Train the trainer Course will provide your staff with the knowledge to teach your own
staff the required practical training skills and manual handling knowledge to reduce the risks from Manual Handling activities. We will assess the manual handling you currently need for your business and apply this into the training by discussion with your new trainers, and ensure your staff understand the basic technique for completing a safe lift. A large part of the course also focuses on training methods so new instructors won’t struggle to answer any difficult questions from their trainees.
Your new trainers will all apply the knowledge gained and start teaching part of the course to get a feel for using PowerPoints and speaking directly to the entire class within a relaxed environment. Once the course has been completed, the employing organisation will benefit from having moving and handling trainers and adviser on site.
